Our children are our future, and we need to provide their parents with all of the tools available to give them all of the opportunities they deserve. School choice is key in that endeavor. Parents should continue to have choice as to where their children attend school. Government doesn’t necessarily know what’s best for everyone. Let’s keep school choice inthe hands of our parents. My children attended both public and charter schools here in Avondale, and having that choice benefitted my children. I plan to work to keep and protect school choice because I support our Avondale families.
Our First Responders are vital to our cities success. I’ve attended the citizen’s police academy, and have gained great respect for what our police do, day in and day out. Neighborhood involvement and training are essential to their ability to perform. We need to provide and fund training, making them better able to handle all situations. Community involvement also would help improve the national stigma against our first responders. School involvement and participation in neighborhood watches are important. I plan on making sure that our first responders have everything they need to provide appropriate and common sense resolutions in our city.
We have been witnessing our neighboring cities’ exponential growth in the past few years, with many developers and other businesses passing by Avondale. We need to fix this. Our residents deserve to have as many doors open for them here in our city as possible. By attracting new businesses, providing more job opportunities, and lowering taxes, our city could flourish. I also want to provide incentives for Avondale residents who want to start a business here in our city. I plan on working towards all of these things to benefit our families.
I support liberty and freedom for all of our residents. To that end, I want to eliminate government overreach and will defend your liberties aggressively. As your councilman, I work for you. That means that my entire job is to provide you the ability to prosper. Many times, taxes, regulations, and laws get in the way. I want to eliminate the red tape and allow our residents to open businesses, invest in our community, and keep their own money. I also want to reduce taxes on our residents, allowing you to keep more of your own money, and be able to invest in your family’s needs. Together we can create a prosperous city that we can all be proud of.
